I have attended the Devamatha College, Kuravilangadu, under the University of Kerala from 1977-1982. I completed my pre-university of two years with Psychology, Economics and History as optionals and Bachelors with English Literature as Main.

Attending Devamatha College under the University of Kerala from 1977 to 1982 was a formative period in my life. The rich academic environment and the diverse cultural experiences have contributed significantly to my personal and professional development. During my two-year pre-university program, I had the opportunity to delve deep into subjects like Psychology, Economics, and History. These optionals provided me with a well-rounded understanding of human behavior, economic principles, and the events that have shaped our world.

Continuing on to pursue my Bachelors with English Literature as my main subject was a natural choice for me. Exploring the works of renowned literary figures and delving into the complexities of the English language was both intellectually stimulating and immensely satisfying. The guidance and mentorship I received during this academic journey have had a lasting impact on my approach to learning and critical thinking.

The academic rigor and the holistic learning environment at Devamatha College have played a pivotal role in shaping my educational foundation and fostering a lifelong love for learning. The next round was my Masters also in Literature under the University of Kerala during 1982-1984. During this period, I immersed myself in the rich literary traditions and academic pursuits that define the University of Kerala. Pursuing my Masters in Literature provided me with an in-depth understanding of literary theory, critical analysis, and the exploration of diverse literary genres. The academic environment at the University of Kerala during the early 1980s was vibrant and intellectually stimulating, and it offered me the opportunity to engage with renowned scholars and fellow students who shared my passion for literature. These formative years significantly contributed to my intellectual and personal development, shaping my perspective on literature and providing a strong foundation for my future endeavours in the field.
