The main teachings of Christ are the core principles and values that he taught and exemplified during his earthly ministry. They include:

• The greatest commandment: to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself (Mark 12:30-31)

• The beatitudes: the blessings and promises that come from developing righteous attributes such as humility, meekness, mercy, purity, peacemaking, and endurance (Matthew 5:3-12)

• The parables: the stories and illustrations that teach spiritual lessons and truths, often using everyday objects and situations (Matthew 13, Luke 15, etc.)

• The gospel: the good news of salvation and eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ, repentance from sin, baptism by water and the Holy Spirit, and obedience to God’s commandments (John 3:16, Acts 2:38, etc.).
